As expected, none of the new iPhones boasts of any major upgrades over last year's overhauled iPhone X. The handset, despite its high price tag, proved to be more popular than the lower-priced iPhones introduced last year. There're two upgraded models: the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, both looking very much the same as last year's iPhone X. The (literally) big difference is that the iPhone XS Max is a huge version of the iPhone X, sporting a 6.5-inch screen despite being the same physical size as an iPhone 8 Plus.
This includes the $1099 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max, the $999 5.8-inch iPhone XS, and the $749 6.1-inch iPhone XR.
And Apple didn't stop at one iPhone this year: you'll have to choose between the Xs, the Xs Max (the Xs' bigger brother) and the confusingly named iPhone XR - a cheaper option if you don't fancy dipping into your rainy-day fund. And of course, it will run the same iOS 12 software.
Both use a new method for taking pictures called "Smart HDR", which essentially takes a bunch of pictures when you press that shutter button and then stitches them into one finished image.
So, when can you get your shakingly impatient hands on Apple's latest trio of phones?
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will support dual SIM and dual standby functionality. The iPhone Xs Max is the Supersized Big Mac and fries phone for an era of healthier digital diets.

The defense also paid dividends as new Ram Marcus Peters got on the scoreboard with a 50-yard interception return for the score. Contract holdouts are fairly typical for star National Football League players.
Meanwhile, Apple says the XR will go an additional 90 minutes past the battery life of the 8 Plus. Pre-orders will start on October 19th and the phone will hit store shelves on October 26. They come in a flashy gold color in addition to space gray and silver. Want audio? You can always purchase its $159 AirPods, or some Bluetooth headphones you'll have to regularly charge.
The US Food and Drug Administration said it worked with Apple to develop apps for the Apple Watch. For example Apple claims the new watch is able to discern between falling, tripping and slipping just based on the movements that the person makes - whose detection is now enables by the new hardware sensor capabilities.
The tech giant will live-stream its event on the social media platform for the first time on Wednesday as it looks to draw in a larger audience.
The phones are updates to last year's iPhone X (10), which was released to mark the 10th anniversary of the smartphone.
Apart from heartbeat data, the devices would now also track heart rhythm and notify users. Though the headphones got off to a slow start, they have quickly helped Apple capture 26% of the USA wireless headphone market, according to NPD Group.
