Rodgers says he suffered sprained knee

"There was a lot of adrenaline", said Rodgers, who guided the Packers to a 24-23 victory over the Bears on Sunday night after returning from the knee injury in the second half.

Aaron Rodgers will work with the rehab group in practice on Wednesday.

"It's super painful, and you've just got to suck it up and play through it", Rodgers said at his locker.

Aaron Rodgers told the media he has a sprained knee and that it's been "pretty sore the last three days".

The team has yet to determine if Rodgers will even be able to practice at all this week ahead of their home opener.

Rodgers has not been practicing this week, but he's going to attempt to do some things today.

"He's always responded. We'll see what tomorrow brings". Knowing coach Mike Zimmer, I'd expect plenty of pressure on Rodgers. He says Rodgers and the training staff are still taking this day by day. "But we'll see how that goes", McCarthy said.

The Packers are slated to host the Vikings at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy echoed his quarterback's "one day at a time" sentiment during his own press conference on Wednesday.
