Entertainers including rappers Nicki Minaj and T.I.to actresses Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham have spoken out in recent days as Nixon, a liberal activist and former "Sex and the City" star, looks to pull off an upset over Cuomo, who is seeking a third term.
Now the New York Times reports that the flier was drafted and approved by two men with close ties to Cuomo.
Nixon was joined by Councilman Jumaane Williams, who is running for lieutenant governor, in Queens.
"Nixon has supported insidious BDS campaign, signing onto letter boycotting Israel", the aide said.
Nixon's alleged support of the BDS movement was one of three bullet points used in a pro-Cuomo mailer that was sent out less than a week before Thursday's Democratic primary.
Cuomo has said that he had no knowledge of the mailer and said through a spokeswoman that the language was "inappropriate".
The gubernatorial candidates weren't alone in last-minute barnstorming across the city.
On Sunday, Cynthia Nixon became the latest aspiring office-holder to briefly lose her mind while attempting to eat on the campaign trail, when she ordered-in public and on purpose-a cinnamon raisin bagel with lox from Zabar's on the Upper West Side.

Ms. Teachout, who is campaigning while eight months pregnant and ran against Mr. Cuomo in the 2014 governor's primary, has scored endorsements from independent Vermont Sen.
While Cuomo has inveighed against President Donald Trump's policies repeatedly, the anti-Trump wave of progressive engagement has created a disconnect between Cuomo's record, which is fairly moderate, and the feisty attitude of the current Democratic base.
The breakaway group of lawmakers, now disbanded, often allied with Republicans to cement GOP control of the state Senate in return for pay bumps, office perks and extra money for their districts.
