First Nike Kaepernick ad to air during National Football League opener

The advert, titled "Dream Crazy", has Kaepernick narrating over images and footage of various athletes with inspirational stories, including National Basketball Association icon LeBron James, tennis star Serena Williams and Kenyan runner Eliud Kipchoge.

And now, the first video ad featuring Colin Kaepernick just rolled out.

Kaepernick became well-known for his take a knee protest during National Football League games in 2016, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and to protest police brutality in the US.

Kaepernick implores "Don't become the best basketball player on the planet, be bigger than basketball, ' with a clip of NBA star Lebron James opening his 'I Promise" school.

Nike will feature Kaepernick on several platforms, including billboards, television commercials and online ads. As the post and the story went viral a large a mount of people starting burning their Nike's and taking a stance against the company.
