As Gordon continues to track northeast across parts of the MS and Louisiana Wednesday afternoon, the threat of strong wind gusts will increase across parts of NWLA and SWAR.
In addition, "a couple of tornadoes are possible through tonight across the southern and west-central Florida Peninsula", said the NHC.
