Trump Fires Back at Former Staffer Omarosa Manigault

Manigault Newman says she secretly recorded Kelly firing her in the White House Situation Room in December 2017, and she played the recording on NBC's Meet The Press on Sunday.

Kelly's reasons for sacking Manigault-Newman were later reported to include repeated abuse of the White House's vehicle service, intended for use by VIPs, as a chauffeur pool for her short daily commute.

"She's served up red meat for the liberal media", he said.

On Twitter, Trump declared Monday that she had been "fired for the last time", a reference to her appearances on his reality TV show.

Goldstone was the publicist who established the connection between Trump Jr. and his father's campaign staff with Natalia Veselnitskaya. She said that she heard Trump on the audio tape using the word multiple times and that it was in reference to Kwame Jackson, who was on the show in the first season.

George "Tyrus" Murdoch added that Manigault-Newman is "literally the most despised person in the free world".

"[Mark Burnett] called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a bad and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa", he tweeted.

Manigault Newman also accused Trump of using racial slurs against George Conway, who is half Filipino.

Sometimes this White House just comes out and says it.

Manigault Newman is an unlikely candidate for a campaign job, given that she was let go for unprofessional conduct like hosting a bridal party photo shoot at the White House.

Lotter told Cheddar's J.D. Durkin that the White House has a strict no-phone rule in the building's most sensitive areas, and the Situation Room has lockers "right outside the door", where staffers are asked to leave their phones and other smart devices.

Neither the White House nor the Trump campaign has directly addressed the hush-money claim, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders broadly called Manigault Newman, who is now promoting her forthcoming book, a disgruntled ex-employee who was spreading "lies and false accusations".

The White House has defended the president, slamming the former staffer's book as being "riddled with lies and false accusations". "And the bottom line is that yes, she was complicit, but she was doing all this knowing that there was going to be a payoff in the end for her, and then once she got upset with him or he got upset with her or whatever happened, she decides to turn on him". He said Kelly had called her a "loser & nothing but problems", but he himself had tried to save her job - because he liked her public comments about him.

He lashed out further at his former friend in a series of angry tweets, as he prepares to return to the White House after an 11 day vacation.

The dispute has been building for days as Manigault Newman promotes her memoir "Unhinged", which comes out officially Tuesday.

Manigault Newman answered, "Well, absolutely". Kelly said there were some "integrity issues" related to Manigault Newman. And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story, that I know the world will want to hear.
