Newton tries to shake Kelvin's hand. but Benjamin turns it down.

Benjamin was a first-round pick by the Panthers in 2014 and played in 40 career games with them, catching 184 passes for 2,424 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Following the game, Cam kept quiet about the incident, but Benjamin spoke up a little about why he showed little interest in listening to Newton and what he had to say. The video was overlaid with the captions "All love on this side" and "No excuses just work".

Benjamin verbally dismantled his former teammate in an interview last week, questioning the one-time MVP's intellectual abilities and accuracy as a passer.

After Benjamin's comments were published, McDermott expressed disapproval, saying Sunday (via ESPN), "There's a time and a place - I'm not saying specific to what comments were made - there's a time and place for things like that". We have a lot of respect for our opponents, No. 1, and everyone in the league.

Remember. the Bills wideout blasted Cam in the media this week - essentially blaming Newton for all of his struggles in Carolina the past few years. Newton followed, trying to catch up, before seeming to give up.
