Brooklyn Family Attacked With Acetone And Brooms By Nail Salon Workers

Neighbors are protesting an East Flatbush nail salon after police arrested a worker and a customer accused of brawling there.

It shows the salon staff also targeting another customer who is helping her granddaughter to escape the clutches of the staff members and start beating her in the back. A nail salon employee was arrested after she was caught on camera repeatedly attacking a customer with a broom.

Employee Huiyue Zhing faces charges of misdemeanor menacing, misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon and harassment. Both she and the salon's owners agree that she wasn't happy with how the eyebrow wax turned out.

Asian nail workers squared off against several Black woman as seen in a viral video posted on Facebook.

One woman explained to the Times that the racial tensions underlying the incident had motivated the local community to come out in force: "The black community has been pushed aside for generations, and it just seems as if the longer time goes on, the more people think we're simply going to go away", said Alexis Regnier, a 33-year-old health worker from Midwood. "If you pay for a service and you don't like a service, it's a $5 eyebrow". Thomas says that when she refused to pay for the eyebrow job that she thought was done poorly, an argument ensued and escalated. Christina Thomas, who Zheng allegedly attacked with a broomstick, is also being charged with assault.

Despite the actions of Facebook , Apple , and YouTube , one social platform, Twitter , has not removed Jones or InfoWars from its service.

On Monday, protesters gathered outside of the nail salon, New Red Apple Nail, at 1426 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, calling for the business to be shut down, according to PIX 11.

"I'm not trying to die on my bday or go to jail", she wrote.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says prosecutors are examining more evidence and may alter the charges. Thomas declined medical attention, the station reported.

Video footage shows a salon employee using a broom to attack an upset customer. Police escorted workers out of the establishment for their safety, the Post reports. The service is below standards and they lack respect for people of color. The protesters were holding signs that read "Black $$$ Matters" and were chanting "black dollars matter", the news station reports. They also claim one protester screamed, "where is ICE?"
