Apple likely won't charge different prices for the different colors, but the new colour options should be welcome by most consumers, mainly because it will make their own device look different from everyone else's. The speculated 6.1-inch LED iPhone may debut in white, blue, red, grey, and orange.

Nonetheless, for more on the possible colors for Apple's 2018 iPhones, follow on over to 9to5Mac.

In a note to investors on Thursday (July 5), Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple is cooking up a variety of color options for this year's three new iPhones, according to 9to5Mac, which obtained a copy of his note.

Kuo says that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will come in black, white, and gold variants, which are familiar color schemes for long-time iPhone users.

These possible four or five iPhone colors would be fairly new territory for Apple.

They also eliminated Argentina in a wild 4-3 match , proving they could fight fire with fire in an offensive matchup. That said, wisdom isn't always conventional and convention isn't always wise, or something like that.

Aside from new color options, Kuo floated some possible pricing for Apple's upcoming handsets.

Improvements over the current iPhone X not only come in that RAM jump from 3GB to 4GB but also in the L1 Instruction Cache and Data Cache that jumps from 32KB to 128KB. All of the devices will feature a near-bezel-less design, but the LCD model could skip out on the dual-camera setup on the back, similar to what's happened with the past two generations of iPhones.

While it is unclear as to whether the white and gray colors mentioned are the existing Silver and Space Gray iPhone X colors that are available today, and even if they are, that means we can expect four new colors across the range.

Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones in September.
