The "Stranger Things" star talked about the nasty injury on her Instagram page.

Make sure to tune in for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, hosted by Tiffany Haddish, on Monday night (June 18) at 9/8c on MTV.

Historically, the MTV Movie and TV Awards red carpet has allowed celebs to be playful with their fashion while cruising into summer (TBT to exhibit A, Kendall Jenner's string-filled sky-high heels).

SNP MPs cause uproar as they walk out of PMQs with Blackford
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon said she was "right behind" Mr Blackford and accused Westminster of treating Scotland with "contempt". Mr Blackford was suspended for the day's session after refusing to sit down when ordered by the Commons speaker, John Bercow.

The actress, 14, posted an Instagram video on Friday, June 15, revealing that she'll be sitting this one out due to an injury - and even showed her cast. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday, she said no one should be concerned about being made fun of during the show because "I'm giving all love through my jokes, but they will be amusing". And that means I won't be attending the MTV Awards this weekend.

The British actress went on to lend her support for her Stranger Things co-stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink and Noah Schnapp, and encouraged them to "have the best time" at the ceremony. "Love you guys so much and peace out!" "I'll be there in spirit!"

The star recently deleted her Twitter account after she unwittingly became a homophobic meme. She quit the social media app after becoming the target of a wave of satirically homophobic memes.
