The Duchess of Sussex may have given up her career as an actress when she officially became part of the royal family, but the former Suits star may just enjoy one last hurrah from her performing days - since it's been revealed that she has been put forward for Emmy award consideration, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The new Duchess of Sussex notably stood behind her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and brother-in-law, Prince William - and it all came down to a royal "pecking order".

Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, said as the Duchess of Cambridge is married to a more senior Royal, she has the right to stand in a more prominent position.

Meghan Markle is still learning the ins and outs of royal life. The Los Angeles native broke protocol by wearing an off-the-shoulder, blush pink dress by Carolina Herrera, which she styled with a matching Philip Treacy hat.

"If she ever goes back they would probably be conservative roles, not like her last role in 'Suits, '" he explained.

As for Meghan's latest regal fashion choice, the source tells us she's still receiving advice and guidance from her best friend, stylist Jessica Mulroney.
