"Avengers: Infinity War" has finally broken the $2 billion barrier and is now sitting with a worldwide box office total of $2,001,398, according to estimates provided by Box Office Mojo. All of those films were released over the winter holidays. The supersized superhero hit has crossed the gigantic number in worldwide ticket sales, becoming another film that rarified the box-office milestone.
After just 48 days in theaters, Avengers: Infinity War joins a very exclusive group of movies that have made more than $2 billion across the globe. It's also, it should be said, Disney's second film to crack $2 billion after Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which completed its run with $2,068,223,624 worldwide. The third installment of the Avengers franchise has now become the fourth film after Avatar, Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens to achieve this feat. It also holds the record for biggest domestic debut, raking in $257.7 million during its opening weekend. The next release from Marvel will be the highly anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is scheduled for July 6. In China, the film's US$369.7 million gross to date ranks third all-time.
Fans launched petitions to have Marvel include Hawkeye in Infinity War's promotions, and Renner, for his part, played along with the mystery, posting cryptic photos and messages on social media. Avengers 4 has been described by Disney chief Bob Iger as being a "significant conclusion" to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, allowing other characters to take over from the likes of Iron Man and Captain America. Over its span of a decade, Marvel brought together nearly every superhero in its comics world onto the celluloid, to ultimately fight against the supervillain Thanos in the Infinity War.
Dominos’s Pizza is fixing our bad roads because the government isn’t
Just look up Domino's and Potholes and you'll find story after story of pothole after pothole being filled. Domino's will work with selected municipalities to fix roads that affect customers and their prized pizza.
We already have a fairly good idea of the directions of the story thanks to that devastating ending point for Infinity War and the motivations for all of the surviving characters, but you can guarantee that there will be shocks and twists to rival those in the first Infinity Saga movie.
The expectations from Avengers: Infinity War were definitely sky-high and given the opening boost of the film, it will fall a bit short of them.
