BioWare Confirms Anthem Release Date

It's that time of the year again, E3 2018 is upon us and EA Play kicks off the first of the big showcases. Be sure to check it out and then let us know your own thoughts on Anthem, Battlefield V, and EA's showing as a whole at the bottom of the page.

Anthem will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Anthem Legions of Dawn Edition are preorderable for PS4 and Xbox One. Muse thumps out during the cinematic trailer that is shown off at EA Play with a cool remix version of Uprising, while huge enemies fill the screen and high action fires out - this looks like it is something to get excited for. Certain dramatic events may alter the weather or make other temporary adjustments, often foreshadowing bigger changes like the reveal of all-new areas.

Speaking about a Anthem beta release date, he added: "Remember, we are still a distance out". Players will control characters called Freelancers who operate mech suits called Javelins. Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind Titanfall, is also teasing something for the event, though it's anyone's guess as to what Zampella might be referring to. New DLC and Expansions will be available post-launch.

Electronic Arts (EA) is one of the highly acclaimed game developers mostly known for games like Federation Internationale de Football Association series, Need For Speed collection and Battlefield games.

A hallmark of BioWare games won't be making it into Anthem, as the developer confirmed there will be no romances in the game.

Xbox doubles its number of video game studios
But Xbox is investing in their own future, which was probably the biggest and most important facet of the entire showing. It brings Undead Labs, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, and Compulsion Games into Microsoft Studios.

E3 2018 may not officially start until next week - but you won't have to wait long to ride the hype train.

This Indie game Sea of Solitude, which has been in development for the past three years, got a new trailer at E3.

Following in the footsteps of two of the most popular PC games of the moment, Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the new Battlefield game will include a "battle royale" mode (last man standing) on a World War II battlefield.

Given that E3 2018 takes place in Los Angeles, the advertised event times are in GMT-7.

In terms of combat it all looks really solid, with four classes of Javelin (those being the mecha-suits) to choose from - all allowing for different styles of play. Sitting there, watching the presentation felt more like watching a legitimate science fiction movie, rather than just watching someone else play a game.
