Vince Zampella and Respawn Entertainment get a quick interview on the EA floor to reassure fans on their upcoming Star Wars title, named Jedi: Fallen Order.

Zampella revealed that players will take on the role of a Jedi during the "dark times", which he went on to clarify is between "Episode III and Episode IV".

During EA Play 2018, Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella, as he previously indicated earlier this week, gave a few brief bits of info revealing what Star Wars project the company is now working on. The concept does sound pretty good though. At E3 2018 we finally got some details, including a title, a story outline, and an approximate release date. There's plenty of uncharted territory, and focusing on a Jedi trying to survive on the run is quite the intriguing prospect.

The game will be called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.

Electronic Arts has the first press briefing of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Zampella said that we can expect more at E3 2019.

Since this is an area that hasn't been extensively explored in the new Star Wars canon, this has the potential to be a really exciting game. All we know for sure is that players will wield lightsabers.

Now, it's Respawn, so you know what the team can do with its Titanfall games.
