Assassin's Creed Odyssey Leaked, Takes Place in Ancient Greece

Pre-E3 announcements and leaks are everywhere at the moment and the latest leak may have just revealed the next game in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Earlier today, we broke a story about the next step for the iconic Assassin's Creed franchise equipped with a location and even photos of merchandise. Origins did a lot of things that changed the status quo for Assassin's Creed, including reworked combat and the removal of a minimap.

Additionally, the same sources told Kotaku that for the first time every players will be able to choose whether they want to portray a male protagonists or a female.

Two of those sources confirmed that Odyssey will be out during Ubisoft's 2019 fiscal year, which ends on 31 March 2019.

Although unconnected to the leaked merch, other rumors suggest that Assassin's Creed: Odyssey will launch in the fall of 2019.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Nearly every mainline game in the franchise has been prematurely revealed through merchandise, gameplay images or the like. We've heard the same details from three people who have played the game, and several more who have heard about it secondhand. Naturally, speculation about the next game began nearly immediately, but Ubisoft has yet to say anything concrete about it.
