President Donald Trump acknowledged for the first time in an ethics disclosure released on Wednesday that he repaid more than $100,001 to former personal attorney Michael Cohen, shedding new light on a scandal involving Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels.

The disclosure bit.ly/2Ilug7D underscored the inconsistency of explanations by Trump and aides about a $130,000 payment made by Cohen to Daniels before the 2016 presidential election to buy her silence over an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

A law enforcement source said in a new report Wednesday that he leaked financial records about President Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen because two key goverment reports on Cohen's financial activity were missing.

The president denies the affair, and initially denied all knowledge of the payment, which Mr Cohen has acknowledged was meant to stop her from going public with the allegations.

"No president has been previously subject to any referral by (Office of Government Ethics) to DOJ as a result of having failed to report an item on their public financial disclosure report", said Virginia Canter, a former ethics official in the Clinton and Obama White Houses who is now with the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Trump's acknowledgment that he reimbursed Cohen puts the president "at the middle of all of the campaign finance violations", said Paul S. Ryan, head of litigation at Common Cause. "The information related to the payment made by Mr. Cohen is required to be reported", the officials said.

The Mar-a-Lago resort, where the president frequently escaped for winter weekends, collected more than $25 million last year, down from $37 million from last year's report. About 36 after Giuliani first revealed that Trump reimbursed Cohen, the president distanced himself from his lawyer, telling reporters "he will get his facts straight" and "virtually everything that's been said has been said incorrectly".

The Greatest Team in Premier League History?
While there is no doubting their quality, they have benefitted from a weak field in the Premier League. Former Manchester United junior Eamon Dunphy insists champions Manchester City are overrated.

The disclosure shows millions in 2017 income from rents, licences, book and television royalties, company shares, hotel management fees and golf courses, with interests that span the globe from India to Dubai.

In his financial discloser form, Trump has listed assets of at least United States dollars 1.4 billion and income of more than USD 452 million.

Michael Avenatti, an attorney representing Daniels, on Tuesday questioned why Trump was acknowledging the payment - and his reimbursement of Cohen - now. "I have never seen something pulled off the system", they said.

The latest is the one that fueled last week's reports; it describes transactions with companies including Novartis and AT&T, which occurred from September 2017 to January 2018 and totaled almost a million dollars. The report said the president did not have to disclose the payment but was doing so "in the interest of transparency".

Trump has at least $315 million in debt, about the same as he reported a year ago.

President Donald Trump has formally disclosed that he reimbursed his personal attorney more than $100,000 previous year, apparently in connection with the payment of hush money to a porn star, government records show. The president owes Deutsch Bank as much as $175 million. One of his biggest lenders is Ladder Capital, which has lent more than $100 million. Mr. Trump is also still picking up a Screen Actors Guild pension of almost $65,000 from his years as a reality TV host and sometime bit player in movies.
