The announcement was integrated into the studio review and there it included a link that leads to what will be, at some point, the official site of Stalker 2. The announcement also leads to a new website that shows the date 2021.

Another S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel is underway at GSC Game World. The post says nothing more about the upcoming sequel or game, but you can read it over right here if you want to. It was a first-person shooter which had a very strong emphasis on survival horror, developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, which was shut down back in 2011. Ultimately, we will more than likely learn more about the second game straight from the horse's mouth sometime soon.

However, the following year, several sources reported turmoil at GSC Game World. The bad news is that it's not going to happen anytime soon: The Stalker 2 site now indicates that it'll be out in 2021.

Also at issue is how to integrate the country's vast and predominantly Shiite militia structure into the security forces. Al-Abadi's signature achievement was expelling Islamic State militants from Mosul, a Nineveh city, in 2017.

So far, the STALKER franchise has 3 titles: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl; S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky of 2008 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat of 2009.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was then cancelled, and GSC scattered to the radiation-poisoned winds.
