Hayward Committed To Play With Kyrie in Cleveland — Ex-Cavs GM

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (23) drives against Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby (3) in the this quarter in game four of the second round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs at Quicken Loans Arena. S--, I think IN did a great job against Cleveland IN that [first-round] series. Or it can break your team apart.

"My size", he told Celtics.com. "Winning the championship together, those days will never be lost".

The shakeup sort of helped, but let's also remember the new-look Cavs were almost eliminated in the first round by Indiana. They were physical and they got us ready. As Hayward left on a stretcher, the Celtics' season seemed to be riding to the hospital with him.

Their paths now intertwine again, one year after clashing in the conference finals, with this being the third meeting in the past four postseasons. We gotta be mentally locked in and have a mindset to try and do the best we can.

The Pacers were aggressive, disrupting one of the league's most prolific offenses.

"More than his game, he's a great kid", James said. They're athletic, they can switch a lot of things. Jaylen Brown spent the most time guarding him during last year's playoffs, and James had his way with Brown. That Cleveland won the series wasn't out of line with what handicappers expected. We don't want anybody on our side now. Two months after he feared his season was over, he is more than eager to take on the challenge. "We just continue to prove people wrong and have fun while we're doing it". We know he's going to make some insane plays. I think Boston is better than Indiana. Yes this current Cavaliers roster is arguably James' worst supporting cast, but they are still a force to be reckoned with. The Cavaliers averaged 116.4 points per 100 possessions when Morris and James were matched up. JR Smith was expending an abundance of energy defending All-Star Victor Oladipo and couldn't find his form on the other end. While they were very almost bounced in the first round after a wild seven-game series against a scrappy Indiana Pacers team, the Cavs dominated the Toronto Raptors in a four-game sweep.

If Morris can do that even a little then maybe his comment has some weight behind it.

James has been on a tear so far in these playoffs.

"We weren't gonna lay down for nobody, no matter who was counting us out".

"Scary" Terry [Rozier] has played great for them.

"I have a lot of room to grow - post moves, ball handling, passing". We are kind of like the anti-NBA at the moment. You're trying to figure it out on the fly. I'm going to go out and take it.

The Celtics and Cavs each needed seven games to get through the first round. They've been on the biggest stage and know what it takes. Even though he's a young guy by age, he's not young by experience.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton says Liverpool can challenge for title next season
And Cantona believes that could cause a problem as Liverpool look to beat the Champions League winners of the last two season. I read and hear about him being a wonderful role model for Egypt, North Africa, for the wider Arabic world and for Muslims.

The newer pieces now have Game 7 against Indiana. With that said, many question how competitive this series will actually be.

"I think in the Toronto series, no disrespect to them, but watching film, it just looked very easy at times".

"I'm a little older, a little more experienced", Morris says.

It sure looked that way against the Raptors in Round Two. It was my first time being in the playoffs, being able to go against one of the best players in the league, if not the best.

One team is just eight wins away from being called champion, but the big stories are yet to come.

In this year's conference semifinals, James averaged 34.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 11.3 assists.

The series starts Sunday in Boston.

"I think we feel like we are tested", Love said. They're really good. They're always in the right spot. "We knew what to expect against Toronto and that first series was a hell of a series for us in a number of ways, but preparation was definitely key with in".

The Cavaliers are a different beast. Everything changed after escaping in Game 7.

It is still quite likely that James will obliterate anything the Celtics try to do, but they will make sure it is as hard as possible.

The fourth-seeded Cavaliers invade TD Garden for today's series opener and they are looking to reach the NBA Finals for the fourth straight season.
