Anthem to Feature Innovative Story and Multiplayer Combination, says Bioware

BioWare's Casey Hudson is back with a new blog on the company's site. "You create your own character, you decide what happens next, and you become the hero", he said. You can interpret this as you will, as Hudson doesn't explain what he means.

However, fans of Bioware aren't the only ones feeling cautious. Even Anthem will be set on a foreign planet.

"Fiscal 2018 was a year of strong growth and continued transformation for Electronic Arts, as we expanded the reach of our leading franchises like FIFA, Battlefield and The Sims to more players across more platforms and geographies", said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson.

Ishan Kishan turns out to be Mumbai's star
The result was a total of 210/5 riding on the back of Ishan Kishan's whirlwind knock of 62 runs off just 21 deliveries. Kishan also played the "helicopter" shot made famous by his Ranchi mentor Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Anthem's March 2019 release window confirmed. Anthem sounds like it will be a bit of both, as Hudson confirmed the upcoming game will be completely playable as a single-player experience as well as for those who want to play with other "randos" or in a group of friends. Whether it was playing online with friends in games like their Star Wars entries, or geniunely connecting with NPCs (Looking at you, Fenris!), there is an emotional element within these entire universes created that means something, that are special. He feels that people are concerned about the multiplayer nature of the game because this issue has not been solved well before. It's worth noting that Anthem director Jonathan Warner heavily implied a public beta would eventually release for the game. We'll be sharing details on how it works very soon. Since it is new IP, we're being conservative in how we're thinking about it. How much time? Hopefully, around 10 more months because come hell or high water we will probably be seeing it out by the end of this fiscal year according to parent company Electronic Arts most recent financial call.

For now, at least, the "Anthem" beta test remains unconfirmed, but it certainly seems more likely in the wake of Wilson issuing those comments. Later in the year, Laidlaw announced he was leaving BioWare, so it's possible this new game Hudson is teasing was the next Dragon Age, but has since been refocused into something else. The Sims community had more than 80 million Sims players across PC and mobile in fiscal 2018. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
