Gorske says he has OCD, which has led him to catalog thousands of receipts, wrappers, and containers over the course of more than four decades.
Guinness World Records has recognized Gorske for the most Big Macs consumed since 2016, when his tally was 28,788.
"I love the patties, I love the sauce, I can't get enough of it", Gorske, 64, said two days after eating his 30,000th Big Mac at a local McDonald's near his Fond du Lac, Wisc. home. He said that the first time he missed eating a Big Mac was in 1982.
The last day he didn't have a Big Mac was Thanksgiving Day in 2011, when McDonald's was closed and he thought he had a burger in the freezer. Big Macs account for 90 to 95 percent of his diet.
Gorske says that regardless of consuming the fast-food favourite not less than as soon as a day, his ldl cholesterol and blood strain readings are each regular.

Don Gorske has already eaten 30,000 Big Macs since the early 1970s, when he first tried McDonald's signature burger. He also was featured in the movie "Supersize Me".
