Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are now recieving Android 8.0 Oreo

It has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the LG G6.

Such updates are rolled out in phases so please be patient, many Redditors residing in European Union have reported that they are receiving the update.

After certain ambiguities regarding whether the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge will receive Android Oreo anytime soon or not. Builds G930FXXU2ERD5 and G935FXXU2ERD5 are rolling out to the S7 and S7 Edge respectively, and it's now only available through an OTA.

Sainsbury's chief executive Mike Coupe will retain that position in the merged company, which will keep the Sainsbury's and Asda brands.

The update comes with firmware version G930FXXU2ERD5 on Galaxy S7 and G935FXXU2ERD5 on Galaxy S7 Edge.

With the Oreo, Samsung has also updated the security patch level of the devices to 1st April. Now, Galaxy S7 owners are getting the same sweet treat. There are also default Android Oreo features, including Smart Autofill and Picture-in-Picture mode among others. If you are using the Galaxy Tab S2, the update coming your way has software version T819YDXU2BRC2 and for those on the Galaxy Tab S3, the update has software version T825JXU1ARC1. While the new flagship will come with Android Oreo out of the box, most owners of the G6 are still stuck on Android Nougat but that won't be for long.
