Ben Simmons Triple-Doubles as 76ers Win Chippy Game 4 over Heat

The Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward/positionless beast showed off all his skills in Saturday's 106-104 victory over the Miami Heat, posting 17 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists (and four steals!) to become only the fifth rookie in National Basketball Association history to record a playoff triple double.

Twice within the the final 45 seconds of regulation, the Heat cut the deficit to a point, doing so both times on jumpers from Dwyane Wade.

Embiid dropped 23 points in the 76ers 128-108 win on Thursday, his first game back after surgery to fix a broken orbital bone around his left eye. JJ Redick had a team-high 24 points, while Dario Saric (11 points), Robert Covington (10 points), Ersan Ilyasova (10 points) and Marco Belinelli (10 points) were also in double figures. Philadelphia finished 27 of 35 from the line. The Heat have had the lead at halftime of every game this series, had big leads in every third quarter and still find themselves trailing 1-3 in the series. Ben Simmons of the Sixers contributed 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. In Philadelphia's two wins in this series, they have outscored the Heat by 31 and 21 points, respectively. Miami turned those into 30 points.

"I want to get more minutes", said Whiteside, who led the National Basketball Association with 3.7 blocks in 2015-2016 and with 14.1 rebounds last season.
