Champions-elect Manchester City heads into this clash at Wembley on the back of three straight defeats in all competitions.

Spurs were unbeaten in the Premier League since going down 4-1 to the champions-elect at the Etihad Stadium in December, but the same opponents put a tough week behind them in style at Wembley.

Manchester United (-475) had some starters nicked-up during the recent worldwide break, but it has won its last four home matchups, while Swansea City (+1300, draw +500) has generated little offense on the road all season. These guys are fantastic, awesome - they are incredible.

Jesus nearly got the third goal but he blasted it in the 63rd minute, both managers made their first changes as Nicolas Otamendi replaced Sane and for Tottenham, Heug min Son was brought in for Erik Lamela.

But having withstood Spurs' second-half rally, Raheem Sterling's 22nd goal of the season secured the victory which means City can clinch the title at home to Swansea next Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

Christian Eriksen's goal shortly before halftime offered fourth-placed Tottenham a route back into the game but Sterling lashed home from close range in the 72nd minute to deflate the hosts who had threatened a comeback.

But it quickly became clear that run of three successive defeats wasn't weighing on City.
