Pair in hospital and man arrested after Norfolk stabbing

Two people were taken to hospital following separate stabbing incidents that occurred Friday night.

The 25-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks near the corner of West Genesee Street and West Fayette Street, police said. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and has since been upgraded to stable.

Daniel Wolfley, 40, is charged with Second Degree Murder, Arson of an Occupied Structure and Tampering with Physical Evidence. The victim was taken to a hospital with the single stab wound that doctors did not consider life- threatening. He remains in custody. It ended with Ramirez stabbing the 39-year old Yonkers father multiple times in the chest, according to authorities.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after 8am today, following reports of a stabbing at a block of flats in Manchester Road on the Isle of Dogs. A third person allegedly intervened and got into a fight with the victim, who was stabbed in the upper body.

Herbert Junior Bushie, a 26-year-old from Winnipeg, has been charged with aggravated assault and possessing a weapon.

The major crimes unit is investigating.
