The P20 Pro is Huawei's star flagship as it brings a triple rear camera setup which includes a whopping 40-megapixel sensor. The P20 Pro has even better DxOMark score, with an overall score of 109. Huawei at its event explained that its notch is smaller in size compared to the iPhone X, allowing for a bigger screen-to-body ratio at around 90 per cent. It is powered by the company's own Kirin 970 processor along with 4GB of RAM.
Achieving highest DxOMark's scores, the HUAWEI P20 Pro surpasses the scores of other top smartphones present by taking number one spot in both photo and video rankings. The smartphone packs a large 4,000mAh battery with SuperCharge support too. Apart from 40MP primary RGB camera with f/1.8 aperture, the flagship also gets a 20MP monochrome camera with f/1.6 aperture, and an 8MP camera with telephoto lens, 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom. Last but not least is a 20MP monochrome shooter with an f/1.6 aperture.
Huawei touts several AI-backed features supporting the triple lens setup that includes 4D predictive focus feature that tracks motion of objects and keeps them in focus. Also, Huawei AIS steadies handheld night shots for long-exposure images without a tripod. Furthermore, its image sensor captures low light photos with up to ISO 102400.
