A private bank in Kerala has terminated the contract of one of its employees after he posted an objectionable comment on social media about the eight-year-old girl in Kathua who was gang-raped and murdered last month, reports claimed. Nandakumar was an assistant manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank's Palarivattom branch in Kochi. Otherwise, she would have grown up and come back as a suicide bomber against India."Over 34,000 comments were posted on the bank's FB wall seeking his dismissal".
Nearly immediately, congratulatory messages began poring in from hundreds of users on social media but many pointed out that it seemed the bank was reluctant to give away the real reason for the termination.
The eight-year-old girl from a grazing family was raped and murdered at Kathua in Jammu region in January this year.

A post on the page has now crossed over three thousand reactions.The users also took to the comments option using the hashtag #dismissyourmanager. Many had even posted pictures of Vishnu wearing the RSS uniform and told the bank that he was a blot on society. Many threatened to close their accounts at the Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Faced with considerable outrage, the bank issued a statement announcing that Nandakumar had been dismissed from his job. "It is extrememly disheartening to see such comments being made in the aftermath of such tragedy by anyone including an ex-employee".
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd in their response to our query have said that they expelled Mr Nandakumar on 11th of April for poor performance.
