Tottenham signing sends warning to Chelsea FC ahead of Stamford Bridge clash


Tottenham Hotspur's impressive performances against hard opposition this season has given the Premier League club the belief they need to win at Chelsea on Sunday, midfielder Lucas Moura has said.

Lucas Moura has admitted his excitement ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's showdown with Chelsea FC in the Premier League this weekend.

Chelsea FC are now in fifth place in the Premier League table and facing an uphill battle to try and get back into the top four before the season is out.

Meanwhile, the first team sit in fifth-place in the Premier League table, five points behind Tottenham in the last Champions League place but are through to the FA Cup semi-finals where they meet Southampton. We've had great games against Manchester United, Arsenal and even against Juventus over two matches.

"It's true, it's a big game and I can't wait for it", Moura told Spurs' website. Brazilian winger Moura signed for the club from French side Paris St Germain in the January transfer window for a fee of around 25 million pounds ($35.3 million). "I'm excited to be around, to hopefully be involved and I believe firmly we can win".

"I saw him really sharp during the camp and in the match it was great to see that he was really strong in the last 15 minutes, physically".

With the global break over, attentions now turn back to the Premier League and our huge London derby with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (kick-off 4pm).
