Now, they've launched a new feature which allows its users to add information to song credits. "This will help us improve, extend, and confirm the metadata Spotify saves", says Spotify, "which will in turn help us improve user experiences and create a more comprehensive ecosystem for Artists & Creators".
As of December 2017, Spotify had 159 million users, 71 million of whom were paying subscribers, according to company data, making it the world's most popular music streaming service, followed by Apple Music with 36 million subscribers. There's even an option to select what kind of mood the song is. In Israel, Spotify faces competition from worldwide streaming services such as Apple Music, Deezer, and Tidal, as well as local services offered by Israel-based cellular carriers. "Sometimes, these problems also affect album titles or artist names". But the company notes it's building an interface to gather this feedback as well, so it can be sent "up the chain" to the label or artist to fix.
BRING ON THE BUCKEYES! SDSU Men Draw Ohio State In Boise
Tate averages 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in NCAA Tournament play while Bates-Diop adds 3.0 points per contest. The "Zags", who will be favored to win their opening match-up, beat Ohio State 86-59 back on November 24th.
The tool itself was publicly announced today, but had been in testing since last fall. The company explained, "Spotify considers the source, and thoroughly reviews and checks the accuracy of this information, before the suggestions are folded into the data that powers our services". It's a nuanced difference, perhaps, but it doesn't appear that a single user's input would change the metadata on its own.
