Nintendo Switch System Update 5.0.0 Mentioned In Parental Controls App Update

After a leak revealing the next update for the Nintendo Switch is coming, version 5.0 is finally available to download on the hybrid console.

Once players have successfully linked their Facebook or Twitter account to their Nintendo Account, they may already see their Facebook and Twitter friends on the Friend Suggestions page.

Nintendo Switch owners get with firmware 5.0.0 24 new ARMS and the Kirby series icons for their user account. The default mode for entering a PIN on Parental controls hads also been modified. While the patch notes don't confirm a release date for the system update, I can't imagine Nintendo releasing a parental controls update that advertises new features too long before those features are functional. In addition, captured videos in the Album will be restricted by Parental Controls depending on the Restricted Software setting and Software Rating Organization. Digital software purchases made from a PC or smart device will henceforth start downloading sooner than with the previous system.

If your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet, your console will download the update automatically. Be sure to save any game progress before you continue.

Metropolitan Opera Fires James Levine After Sexual Abuse Investigation
He said he was reaching out to police in Lake Forest because some of his encounters with Levine took place there in the mid-1980s. Levine made his debut with the Met aged 28 in 1971, becoming principal conductor two years later and music director in 1975.

Unlike past versions, it has introduced some pretty MASSIVE updates to the console and is the latest update to the console since May.

You can now choose to lock this app.

This time, it appears to be either a leak or an unintentional mistake by Nintendo where they accidentally listed a different firmware update in the patch notes.
