Hillary Clinton takes her 'deplorables' argument for another spin

Hillary Clinton joked during a weekend appearance in India that American voters do not deserve President Donald Trump.

Clinton was also asked about Trump's relationship with Vladimir Putin, and she said that "Trump does have quite an affinity for dictators".

"If you look at the map of the United States, there's all that red in the middle where Trump won", Clinton said.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton allegedly appeared to have trouble navigating a flight of stairs during her current trip to India.

Defending champion wins opener at Indian Wells
World number 1 Roger Federer defeated Federico Delbonis 6-3, 7-6 (8/6) to advance to the third round at Indian Wells on Sunday. Djokovic was making his first appearance since being stunned by Hyeon Chung at the Australian Open.

After a brief pause that was punctuated with laughter and clapping at the event, Clinton said, "I would have to say "no", we did not deserve that". You don't want to, you know, see that Indian American succeeding more than you are? She played up the states that supported her as more economically advanced than the states that voted for Trump, calling them "dynamic" and "moving forward". She seems to say Trump was providing an outlet for these people.

"If you watch reality TV, you know it means that the person who is the most outrageous, the person who says the politically incorrect things, the person who's insulting and attacking drives big ratings, and I think part of what happened in the election is nearly an attraction that many people had to the role that was being played by him as the candidate for president", said Clinton. Then she again suggested Trump supporters were motivated by animosity toward women and people of color.

"[Democrats] do not do well with white men and we don't do well with married, white women", Clinton explained. By 2020, I don't think there is any way she will be able to do it.

Relying heavily on a member of her entourage for support, Clinton slipped and almost fell.
