CBN goes back on 3rd Rajya Sabha Seat!

Since TDP and BJP's ties have severed and their differences reached pinnacle, Chandrababu chose to settle with 2 Rajya Sabha seats and doesn't want to take any risk at the moment due to public anger on BJP. The only Congress member protesting in the Well was K V P Ramachandra Rao from Andhra Pradesh.

As chairman Venkaiah Naidu tried to pacify the members and conduct the Zero Hour, protesting members trooped into the Well holding placards and shouting slogans.

Soon after the House resumed at 2 p.m. following its first adjournment of the day, the National Democratic Alliance constituent Telegu Desam Party (TDP) and some opposition parties, including the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), created a ruckus pressing for their demands.

"Hence we are strongly asking him (to honour the promises made in the Reorganisation Act as well as those made in Rajya Sabha by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh), Naidu said".

Witnesses try to stop hit-and-run driver who slammed into parked cars
In the video, the driver of a badly hit silver Infiniti SUV reversed the vehicle out of the scene of the wreck, trying to leave. In the video, one man screams "don't move", but the driver refuses to heed his words and attempts to run.

The Upper House witnessed uproarious scenes on Monday forcing the Chair to adjourn it for the day. I am allowing every issue to be raised and find no reason to disturb the proceedings. The sentiments of the Andhra has to be addressed by Chandrababu Naidu, and in these circumstances, unless we support our people, we hear them out and work for it, it does not make sense. Making it obvious that TDP ministers were pulled off after the minister's remarks Naidu in his assembly speech earlier during the days said that it was unfortunate that state is getting raw deal and that they had to withdraw after his comments.

For the sixth day in a row, members continued to protest on issues such as bank fraud, special status to Andhra Pradesh and setting up of Cauvery water management board.

Congress - the main opposition party - had earlier moved a notice in the Rajya Sabha under rule 168 seeking a discussion on the billion dollars Punjab National Bank fraud case. However, as the pandemonium continued, Kurien adjourned the proceedings of the House for the day after barely a couple of minutes.

Amid the noisy protests, Ahluwalia laid on the table of the House the statement regarding the status of implementation of recommendations contained in the 35th report of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development on Demands for Grants (2017-18).
