Allegations of sexual misconduct by members of the Canadian pop-rock band have been shared by female fans on social media over the past few weeks, and on February 25, an Ottawa woman accused Jacob Hoggard, the band's lead singer, of rape. The Windsor venue is the first to cancel a show, amid widespread allegations of sexual assault and misconduct against members of the band, which they have denied.

Jacob Hoggard is finally speaking out about the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct that have been made against him - including one woman who says he raped her - by issuing a statement he posted on Twitter on Wednesday night.

"I have never behaved in non-consensual sexual behaviour in my life".

"We hope the City of Greater Sudbury will follow in Windsor's footsteps by cancelling the upcoming Hedley concert in light of sexual assault allegations", Villeneuve wrote on She Matters' Facebook page.

The band is now on tour, but in many cases fans have asked for ticket refunds because of the allegations, and the opening acts at some shows have also dropped out. I understand the significant harm that is caused not only to the women I interacted with, but to all women who are degraded by this type of behaviour.

He adds: "I have been careless and indifferent and I have no excuse".

The scandalous allegations against the band did not affect Hedley's tour plans, even though some of the shows were canceled.

The tour continues with more than a dozen with dates ahead in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta before ending on March 23 in Kelowna, B.C. "That begins by us saying we are truly sorry, as individuals and as a band, to anyone who has been negatively affected by our behaviour".

"I was given a position of leadership and power and I mishandled it".

Members of the band Hedley pose on the red carpet during the 2015 Juno Awards in Hamilton, Ont., on Sunday, March 15, 2015. I will regret this for the rest of my life.

As a result, he says he'll "step away from my career indefinitely" after honouring his obligations on Hedley's current tour. The statement reads, "We have unanimously chose to continue this tour to the end".

"I was getting drinks all night; I probably spent like $200 at the bar after already drinking all day", said Bachman. Uber also connected with Bachman and resolved the matter, which ended with him agreeing to pay the fare.
