Voters approve Puyallup, Sumner levies in early election results

The technology levy is a state approved funding mechanism to allow districts to enhance classroom technology to prepare students for future education and careers. "Without the levy, our school district will change drastically". Both ballot measures only need a simple majority for passage.

Bellevue's $304 million enrichment levy, which would generate the greatest amount of money among all the King County enrichment levies, was passing with 53percent of the vote.

A statement on its website said if voters do not approve it, "It will mean the possible loss of one in five of all employees, and possible loss of services in music, the arts, drama, athletics and activities, and some special education and transportation programs".

In Entiat 62% of voters said yes to the Entiat School M& O levy.
