Reliance Jio Sachet packs: Prepaid plans from Rs 19 to Rs 98


Under the new Rs. 399 pack, Airtel is offering 1GB 3G/ 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls - local, STD, and roaming, and 100 SMSes per day for all handsets.

The Rs 98 pack comes with free and unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and 140 free SMS messages. The second pack is priced at Rs 52 and Jio users get 1.05GB of 4G data, 70 free SMSes with validity of 7 days.

In other circles, Airtel is offering the same Rs 59 plan as part of its Prepaid Promise scheme, but the benefits differ by a huge margin. The pack is valid for a day.

Reliance Jio's Rs. 98 sachet pack offers 2.1GB of high speed 4G data with a daily cap of 0.15GB data, following which the speed gets lowered down to 64 Kbps.

State-run telecom operator BSNL is increasing the plan validity and offering more data on select prepaid plans to compete with Reliance Jio. In terms of calling, the tariff plans come with unlimited calling benefits for the validity period. The offers give 70GB of data with a daily FUP limit of 1GB data per day. Now with this latest announcement, Rs 199, Rs 399, Rs 459 and Rs 499 plans will cost Rs 50 less.
