It was the first playoff win for Philadelphia since the 2008 season, and they will host either Minnesota or New Orleans for the conference title next Sunday. They are hosting it for the first time since January 2005.
"That's a really good Atlanta team we beat and everybody's excited", Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox told NBC Sports.
And, Nick Foles winning over many doubters.
"Nick is Nick", Pederson said of Foles.
Foles finished the night 23 of 30 for 246 yards with no turnovers and he took just one sack. "But we made too many mistakes". Jay Ajayi rushed for 54 yards and had one fumble, with LeGarrette Blount rushing for a touchdown.
From there, the Eagles receivers did a great job of getting yards after the catch. They let the Eagles and Foles convert several big third downs and were outplayed in the trenches. He called a timeout to further consider his decision before sending his field goal unit onto the field.
Johnson wore his walking off the field after the Eagles' tense 15-10 win at the Linc (see Roob's observations). "They aren't going to run it from the two-yard line", Jenkins explained.
Ryan had his worst game of his MVP season previous year in Atlanta's 24-15 loss in Philly on November 13, 2016. That gave Atlanta momentum, but it wasn't enough. Julio Jones was Julio Jones for Atlanta, catching nine passes for 101 yards. And the Eagles defense was the reason, even overcoming early blunders from the offense and special teams.

He is also a design engineer in the defense industry and a Haitian immigrant who says the portrayal of his country is offensive. I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians.
As the Flacons squeaked out a first down to reach the 26th yard line the plays got more intense.
Here's Stefen Wisniewski tossing Falcons safety Ricardo Allen like a rag doll, and then following that up with a second block on safety Keanu Neal.
"We had chances to make plays and we didn't make them", Ryan said.
And in the end, Atlanta had to deal with the currents on that final drive, which did include a 20-yard completion to Jones on fourth-and-6. The punt return was touched by an Eagle and Atlanta recovered.
Foles ended up picking up his game in the second half and led the team on two long drives that ended with field goals. Elliott missed the extra point, hitting the left upright. The Eagles limited the Falcons defense to just 281 total yards, with the falcons going six-for-13 on third down.
The Falcons didn't come close to their season's average, or to the 26 they put on the board in beating the Rams in a wild-card matchup last weekend. The Falcons picked up the fumble at the 18-yard line, and the Eagles offense never could take the field.
While Foles did not turn the ball over on Saturday, he also did not throw a touchdown pass and did little to instil much confidence in Philadelphia's offence.
The game wasn't decided until the final seconds. He's surpassed 4,000 passing yards each of the last seven years. Foles' very bad overthrow should have easily been picked, but Neal mistimed the ball and it caromed off his knee and right into the hands of Eagles receiver Torrey Smith for a fluky 20-yard gain.
Ajayi returned at the start of the second half. Jeffery found open pockets to help move the chains.
