The World Ends With You, which was originally launched for the Nintendo DS is getting a remake of the Switch. Finally, the Pokemon spin-off with catch two DLC Waves through its Battle Pack. Wave 1 will be on January 31 and will bring the new battle character Aegislash along with the support set Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu. Hyrule Warriors Deluxe Edition will release in Spring 2018. Whether Nintendo ports over the Wii U version of Smash or creates a new entry completely, we'll nearly certainly see the franchise on Switch before long, so get excited for that.

Not only that, the Ultimate Edition will also include Breath Of the Wild themed costumes and couch co-op.

In terms of actual new first party games, only two real titles were featured: Kirby Star Allies and Mario Tennis Aces.

The fun and exciting game from Team 17, the same group who brought players the sidesplitting mayhem of The Worms series, gives a much lighter take on what it feels like to be locked up behind bars. It features exploration through a forest, where Fe (the fox you play as) has to interact with other animals to learn new abilities that allow it to explore. Star Allies showed off the triumphant return of combo copy abilities, as well as some new ones like the Painter, while also hinting at story beats and another solid entry to Kirby's surprisingly intricate lore. Since then, the game has been made available on nearly all Nintendo consoles.

There are free demos available on the Nintendo eShop for Kirby Battle Royale and Dragon Quest Builders.

Why exactly? Well the company's last big presentation came back in September, followed by smaller ones dedicated to specific games further into the fall.

As fan theories got more detached from reality, Nintendo played along through its social media, resulting in context-less tweets like one by its New York City office of a Mii dressed up like the Snapchat hot dog. It has come to be loved by many and has even won a few awards at some game of the year ceremonies. It will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

The Wii U platformer Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is coming to the Switch with Funky Kong as a new playable character. It'll be out on the 25th May 2018, although, it'll also be available on Xbox ONE and PS4. It's been a rollercoaster couple of days for Nintendo fans who have been waiting to hear confirmation or denial of a hotly rumored Nintendo Direct stream.
