The Jio plan revision is part of the Happy New Year 2018 offer and available for only users.
The number of telecom subscribers dwindled by 15.8 million to 1,185.88 million in November, even as Reliance Jio continued to lead in customer addition to reaching over 150 million subscribers, as per a report by TRAI. Apart from these, Jio is now offering 3GB data per day and 5GB data per day for 28 days with the Rs. 509 and Rs. 799 packs, respectively.
Airtel had newly launched a new prepaid pack of Rs. 199 that gives 1GB data daily for 28 days. Before the revision, Vodafone customers doing recharge of ₹458 or ₹509 were offered free local and STD voice calls, free outgoing on roaming, 100 local and national SMS per day, and, 1 GB 3G/4G data per day. However, Jio's Rs. 199 pack provides 1.2GB 4G data per day while the Airtel's pack gives only 1GB data per day.
State-run telecom firm BSNL extended the validity of select prepaid mobile plans by 43 percent and increased the data offered by 50 percent, with an aim to counter Reliance Jio's latest offer. The Mumbai-based operator is also offering 1.5GB data per day for 28 days at Rs. 198, while the Rs. 498 pack offers identical data quota for 91 days. The validity of this plan of Jio is 28 days. Airtel's new Rs. 93 prepaid recharge pack is giving a tough competition to Reliance Jio Rs. 98 recharge pack. Airtel offers a prepaid plan that costs Rs 349 (as good as Rs 350) per billing cycle.

Another source said that Wahlberg's lawyer formally vetoed Plummer's casting until the financiers met the actor's demand for additional payment.
All the above-mentioned recharge packs come with freebies such as unlimited calls to any network across India, no roaming charges, 100 free SMSes per day, and access to Jio apps.
BSNL customers subscribing to Rs 186 plan voucher and Rs 187 special tariff voucher will get 1 GB data per day with 28 days validity. Also, there are several other prepaid packs of Reliance Jio, Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone operators, which offer 2GB daily to users.
The move comes into effect just days before the ongoing ends. And as far as pricing is concerned, Jio offers the plan at the cheapest price against its two older rivals of Airtel and Voadone.
