James Franco accused of inappropriate behaviour by five women

Meanwhile, actor James Franco won the Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in "The Disaster Artist", but skipped the Critics' Choice Awards ceremony because of the sexual misconduct allegations on the actor.

The pin was worn by actors who support Hollywood's sexual harassment initiative Time's Up, which is created to pool funds together for those affected by harassment inside and outside of the industry. In 2014, it was discovered he was flirting with a 17-year-old girl on Instagram.

The move prompted several women to turn to Twitter to accuse Franco of sexual misconduct. She accused The Disaster Artist star of pressuring her to perform oral sex on him in a vehicle.

It "was like a slap in my face", said Sarah Tither-Kaplan, a former acting student at the film school Franco founded who went on to appear in several of his productions. "I wish he made a promise to change", she said.

Both Dusome and Chmiel recounted Franco getting angry on a set when none of the actress acquiesced to his request that they take their shirts off. Chmiel says she was told the footage for a jeans commercial; Dusome thought it was for one of his "art films". I truly believe, and why I was wearing the pin, is that they need to be a part of this conversation. "He is really hurt because he didn't know that we would be in a place where giving someone a voice would be giving someone a license to speak without any accountability".

She says in a nude orgy scene three years ago on the not-yet-released indie drama Long Home, Franco removed plastic guards covering the actresses' groins while simulating sex.

The Irish Independent report that former Sunderland manager O'Neill was set to meet with Stoke top brass last night. RTE pundit Dunphy has been critical of O'Neill in the past but this time has taken aim at the association.

Actor/director James Franco attended the Golden Globes this week and has since come under fire for his behaviour in the past. "I got it in my head pretty quickly that, OK, you don't say "no" to this guy", Tither-Kaplan told Los Angeles Times.

Later, actress Violet Paley tweeted that Franco pushed her head toward his groin in a vehicle while the two were in a consensual relationship. "I feel frightful that anyone was made to feel uncomfortable but we went to great lengths to make sure all the actresses in the nude scenes felt comfortable and safe".

The admittance of a consensual relationship has prompted some to disbelieve her and like Sarah Tither-Kaplan, responded in a negative manner. A handful of other women were selected to appear with Franco, who simulated performing oral sex on each of them, Tither-Kaplan said. The parts on offer reportedly required nudity; LaBella said "I didn't have agency representation at the time, so I thought, 'Well, I'm not going to be able to get into good auditions, so this might be my opportunity'".

Paley and Tither-Kaplan spoke out against Franco on Twitter Sunday during the Golden Globes.

Franco told Colbert on Tuesday night that "if there's restitution to be made, I will make it".

"The power dynamic was way off", she recalled.
