WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is set to meet unbeaten Luis Ortiz on March 3 at Barclays Center.

The event is part of Premier Boxing Champions.

Ortiz will be hoping to put behind a turbulent few months behind and get the wheels in motion back in his career with a title opportunity against Wilder.

"We are thrilled to welcome the heavyweight champ back to Barclays Center for his second-consecutive fight after a big first round knockout of Bermane Stiverne in our ring last November", said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.

Wilder is also unbeaten in the division after 39 wins and will go into the fight with confidence following a crushing first round defeat of Bermane Stiverne.
