For the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, Dark Souls: Remastered will run at 1080p will at a a solid 60 fps.
Though it's unclear just how Dark Souls: Remastered will perform undocked, my bet is that the Switch will run it at a standard 720p 30 fps (which isn't bad). Even the current PC port isn't the best, so to finally be able to see this game in its intended glory is all I really need. FromSoftware's Dark Souls gained fame, or rather infamy, for being a challenging title that was unforgiving to players that made mistakes.
One of our sources indicates that Bandai Namco plans to bring all three Dark Souls games to Switch eventually, but the oft-rumoured "trilogy" bundle is not how this will be happening - yet. Both were well received by fans and critics.
Dark Souls Remastered is set to launch on May 25th for the PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
