Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is now available to all users

Windows 10's latest Insider preview build, 17074, was released late last night to Insiders in the Fast Ring. Users can now select and copy their device name.

Major feature updates like the Fall Creators Update are made available to businesses via the new Semi-Annual Channel about four months after their general release.

"Any device on Windows 10 Enterprise edition or Windows 10 Pro edition that is configured to receive updates automatically from Windows Update will be automatically offered Windows 10, version 1709 after January 18, 2018", according to John Cable, director of program management, Windows servicing and delivery for Microsoft.

Microsoft's latest Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is now officially available for all compatible devices, the company has announced. It is still possible to download and install Windows 10 updates manually though. To enable automatic updates, go to Windows Update Advanced options Choose how updates are installed to make sure they are turned on for you. Version 1607 (Anniversary Update) and 1703 (Creators Update) are to fall off the support list in March 2018 and September 2018, respectively, while 1709 has until March 2019.

Lonzo Ball Posts Unique Double-double
Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy is also disgusted with ESPN's decision to publish comments made by Lonzo's father. L.A. secured its second straight win after going through a nine-game losing streak.

Microsoft also modified the Start menu to show links to the Documents and Pictures folders by default.

The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update has reached full availability, meaning all compatible devices should now be upgraded or have an upgrade available to the latest version of Windows. Enterprises that run Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or WSUS, or a third-party update-and-patch platform (which in turn rely on WU), can, of course, roll out 1709 to PCs at IT's discretion any time after that.

I suggest that you create a full system backup before you install the update. This is a good thing, as it means Windows 10 releases are getting more stable as time progresses, and more users are getting the latest version of Windows 10 quicker. You no longer need to wait for our signal - deployment control and choice is yours.* IT admins can leverage Windows Analytics tools that help you plan, test and deploy Windows 10 to your organization, and help accelerate Windows 10 migration. Users with Windows 7 or 8.1 product keys may still upgrade to Windows 10 for free. These threats highlight the importance of having devices running the latest Windows 10 feature update and the latest monthly quality updates.
