Samsung debuted "The Wall", a new modular TV, at CES.

"You have millions for a single display", he said.

But at CES 2018, the annual tech show happening this week in Las Vegas, manufacturers are still trying to generate buzz for their lineup of TVs coming later this year. All Smart TV from this year will be equipped with Samsung Knox; if the security software detects a malicious application it'll remove it. It's very similar to the technology used in scoreboards and jumbo screens, but scaled for home use.

Samsung also worked with McAfee to develop a new security application which is tailored for TV called McAfee Security for TV. By pressing a button, you can lower the screen into a box, where it wraps around a metal cylinder, kind of like a window blind.

We covered this subject recently in a post on the future of QLED technology (essentially another name for the micro LED tech of "The Wall" TV) and discussed how it might advance enough to replace OLED or conventional LCD displays to become the dominant type of display for most near-future TVs. In other words, aside from its ridiculous size, The Wall is as close to the flawless new TV as we've seen so far from any brand.

The QLED TV will feature twice the resolution of current top model televisions, and Samsung Australia television product manager Hass Mahdi said the screen would use artificial intelligence to automatically upscale shows to appear in crisp 8K resolution.

How the IV Bag shortage is affecting the Ames community
Garmon said the hospital does have a plentiful supply of the smaller IV bags but short in supply of the larger size bags. Several noted a cascade effect, with new shortages created as hospitals all try the same workarounds.

The Wall is a 146-inch 4K Tv that has just been revealed by Samsung at the CES in Las Vegas.

Samsung Electronics on Monday introduced "The Wall", the world's first modular microLED television.

Pricing for the TV has not yet been announced. The real stuff. We know because we touched it with our own hands and asked the tough questions that you wanted us to.

While voice assistants may not be as flashy as a TV the size of a wall, they are a useful feature for consumers, according to Forrester's Nail.

LG's new OLED TVs are made smarter with a touch of AI, and with Google's Assistant and Amazon Alexa built in.
