Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch a new color variant of its flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5T in India. This variant of the device is not the first special edition OnePlus 5T handset to reach India, though, the Star Wars Limited Edition OnePlus 5T arrived to India a while back, a phone which comes with a white back with a sandstone finish, and it has a Star Wars branding on it. Initial reports had claimed that this color variant would launch in India on January 26. The company actually launched a new Sandstone White version for most markets around the world except for India. OnePlus India teased it with an image on Twitter. As of now, there is no information on the pricing and availability. Likewise, the original OnePlus 5T has two memory variants; however, the Lava Red colored OnePlus 5T will only offer 8GB of RAM combined with 128GB of internal storage.
Other than the new hue, all the other specs and features remain same on this new variant. It sports a 6.01-inch full-HD + (1080×2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

It comes with the same 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.The dual-SIM smartphone houses a 3,300mAh battery and dash charge support. The OnePlus 5T runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and the company will soon roll out its Android 8.0 Oreo update as well.
According to OnePlus, the Sandstone White 5T was "gone in 2 hours".
