Just like the OnePlus 5T midnight variant, the new Lava Red edition will also be exclusive to Amazon India. There's abundant choice for customers in the country looking to pick up a 5T: there's the standard model in Midnight Black hue, the Star Wars edition, and now the Lava Red option. The company further says, "The radiant Lava Red color shade is achieved through accurate combination of temperature, consistency and baking time with less than 0.01 percent variation". The OP5T Lava red variant is set to go on sales from January 20, 2018. It follows the launch of Star Wars Edition of OnePlus 5T, which was announced in India December. The glossy crimson look was obtained through a mix of double blasting, AF coating, and two anodic oxidation processes.
On the internals, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 8GB RAM, 128GB non-expandable storage powered by a 3300mAh battery. It sports a 6.01-inch full-HD + (1080×2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
OnePlus 5T runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with company's OxygenOS on top; it will soon be getting Android 8.0 Oreo update.
Samsung reveals new Drvline platform for autonomous driving
The DRVLINE platform has been created to allow vendors to collaborate and customize the software. Yesterday we heard about Samsung's plans for their new DRVLINE self driving technology.
The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back and it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and uses USB type-C for charging and data syncing. It has the new Face Unlock device unlocking technology and Dash Charge.
The OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant is priced at Rs. 37,999 and interested people will be able to buy it on January 20 from Amazon India. On the front is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Camera wise the OnePlus 5T is well endowed with a dual lens rear camera setup (20MP+16MP) and also offers an advanced Portrait Mode. The OnePlus 5T will come with a dual-nano SIM slot too.
