Players can pre-load the beta starting December 18 to jump straight into the action when it launches.

The first beta had players square off against monsters like the Rathalos and Diabolos - iconic monsters from the Monster Hunter series.

Capcom announced on Twitter that a second beta for Monster Hunter World is to start on December 22nd.

Furthermore, it looks like PS Plus will not be a requirement to play the beta, which opens up the base a lot more for potential players. Fortunately, Capcom have made an exception and you can play online with chums even if you don't have PlayStation Plus.

The title is slated to have it's open beta next week, so make sure you have a portion of space if you wish to give it a try. Anyone who has already downloaded the first Beta client, according to the folks behind the game, should be ready to go the day that the new Beta is released. Releasing on January 26, 2018 the co-op adventure title will take up a total of 12.94 GB on your Xbox One console.
