Coming hot off the show-stopping first teaser for Avengers: Infinity War, the Powers That Be over at Universal have now unleashed Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's official trailer, and it steers the legendary franchise toward uncharted territory.

Fallen Kingdom is a direct sequel to the 2015 Jurassic World, which stands as the fourth highest-grossing of all-time with $1.6 billion (about Rs. 10,331 crore) in ticket sales. And you know who else can't stop eating treats? The video then shifts from a short pan showing a museum filled with dinosaur skeletons to Owen remembering how he first met Blue, his favorite Velociraptor from the first Jurassic World movie. However, it's Hammond that eventually invites Dr. Malcolm back to the island's "site b" where his nephew's corporation is breeding and capturing dinosaurs to make money off of them. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles as Owen and Claire, and Jeff Goldblums return as Ian Malcolm from the original film. Writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly are also back for the sequel. He first appeared in Jurassic Park (1993) and was the main character in The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. Based on what we've seen so far, it looks to offer less of the carefully crafted suspense of Jurassic Park and more of Jurassic World's suitably over the top CG action. And it looks like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will have plenty of animatronics.
