The Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched in September in India, contributing to Xiaomi's huge sales in the region towards the end of that month.

Xiaomi has announced its search for Mi A1 owners to beta test its upcoming stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo. The company is giving preference to active forum users.
