Audio of Corey Feldman Interview From 1993 Resurfaces in Santa Barbara

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office reportedly obtained audiotapes from 1993 on which Feldman names the individuals who allegedly abused him, building what seemed to be a strong case for Feldman. They said they can not mention the contents of the recording since it is a case involving the sexual abuse of a minor.

In October, the former child actor claimed that he once told the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office about all of the alleged sexual predators in Hollywood during an interview related to the investigation of molestation accusations against Michael Jackson.

Also, there was initial confusion about whether Feldman told the Santa Barbara Police, which serves only the city, or the sheriff's office, which serves the rest of the county.

He also took his story to the LAPD, which confirmed it was investigating Feldman's claims and then nearly immediately closed down its investigation.

"Following the recent inquiries into the Sheriff's Office interview of Mr. Feldman in 1993, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office conducted an additional review for any stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation", according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

At the time, officials with the Sheriff's Office told Fox News that Feldman had not revealed any names.

Breast cancer strikes about 255,000 US women each year and kills about 41,000, according to the American Cancer Society. This study was done in Denmark, where every resident is on a register of medical visits and drug purchases.

The sheriff's office said that the recording is being turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department. "MAYBE THERES STILL HOPE." he tweeted after news broke that the tape was found.

It's not clear whether Santa Barbara's belated discovery of a 24-year-old audio recording of detectives' interview of Feldman will change anything.

In an online post last month, Feldman said he is "forever grateful" to the women who came forward with sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein because the story has resurrected interest in his own claims of sexual abuse.

"There are people that were the people that did this to both me and Corey (Haim) that are still working, they're still out there, and that are some of the richest most powerful people in this business", Feldman said in the 2013 video.

Feldman had appeared on "The Dr. Oz Show" to discuss his claims of widespread pedophilia in Hollywood, saying he was sexually assaulted as a young actor and witnessed sexual abuse of other young performers.

Feldman plans to make a movie addressing the issue of sexual abuse in Hollywood, for which he seeks to raise $10 million.
