Actress Rose McGowan was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after police said she left luggage on a flight at Washington Dulles International Airport earlier this year that tested positive for narcotics.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained a warrant for McGowan on February 1, more than a week after items taken from her personal belongings during a January 20 flight tested positive for narcotics. After turning herself in Tuesday in Loudoun County, Virgina, McGowan was released on $5,000 bond.
The actress was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond, the jail told the Daily News.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesman Andrew Trull says in an email Tuesday night that McGowan has surrendered to Airports Authority Police. She confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she was referring to disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein.

The doctor was identified as George Seese, 59, who received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University in 1980. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brownsville, N.J., and returned to OH in 1992.

In a series of tweets on October 12, 2017, McGowan said Weinstein raped her and Amazon Studios ignored her complaints.
McGowan has become one of the leading voices against sexual assault and harassment in Hollywood in recent months. What a load of HORSES**T.,' she also tweeted.
McGowan is best-known for her role as Paige Matthews in the WB supernatural drama Charmed, between 2001 and 2006.
