Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and China's President Xi Jinping held a bilateral meeting after the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation meetings that ended on Saturday, and agreed to hold a trilateral summit with South Korea "at the earliest possible time".

Going into the meeting Mr Trump said the discussion would primarily focus on trade and North Korea.

"I want to promote the development of the mutually beneficial strategic partnership" between the two countries, Abe said, adding Japan hopes to work with China to make the efforts in this regard more stable and steady.

It has fired two missiles over Japan.

"It is not to the interest of North Korea to swagger around and threaten the world, keeping us hostage with the atomic weapons", said Duterte on Monday, November 13, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Summits.

Justice Khosa was to head the bench, which also consisted of Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel. Justice Khosa said the registrar should not have presented the case in front of the bench.

Since February, North Korea has launched 22 missiles during 15 tests. "It is bad. It puts a strain on everybody, not only in Japan but all over the world", Duterte said. "And he should realize that he'd be responsible for ending life in this planet if his mind goes out of control", he added. "That's why we are persuading him, maybe pleading with him to stop the -", Duterte was heard saying, before media were led out of the room.

In October, he said world leaders should reach out and assure North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un they are not out to wage a war to calm down the country's leader.

He had also called Kim a "nutcase" playing with "dangerous toys". Last April, the Asean member states said they were concerned over the issues surrounding the Korean Peninsula as they seriously threaten peace, security and stability in the region and the world.

North Korea's rapidly-progressing missile and nuclear tests have heightened tensions within its neighboring regions and raised alarm in the worldwide community.
